Hello lovely people,
Hairfall is such a common problem these days for not just women but equally for men. Most of us have such hectic schedules, that we forget about the torture that our hair goes through every single day, from getting exposed to harsh UV rays to pollution to even those super tight hair ties and helmets we wear while riding bikes. Adding to all this agony, are all the chemical hair treatments we go through, in the hope of making them smoother, straighter and what not!
Recently, our newer member of Team ThatTripeUrbanLife, Arpitha (Know more about her HERE) went for a hair spa at Hairbitat in their newly opened branch at Vittal Mallya Road, Bangalore. When we say hair spa, don’t just think it’s any other expensive hair spa we find in salons. This was quite different, as it was completely natural and all the products were from the well-known Singapore brand Bee Choo Origins.
About Bee Choo Origin:
Bee Choo Origin group promotes 100% chemical/preservative/additives free herbal paste that can promote hair growth was conceptualized after Bee Choo, the founder of the Bee Choo Origin Group, met a Hong Kong physician who told her about Chinese herbs that can aid in solving hair loss problems. With the Hong Kong physician’s encouragement and guidance, Bee Choo started to experiment on various herbal concoctions until she came up with what is known today as the Bee Choo Origin Herbal Paste. Their aim is to solve customer’s hair problems through Chinese traditional herbs and professional service with love.
You can find the Bee Choo Origin treatments in India only at HAIRBITAT, where the only focus is only on hair treatments. Hairbitat has it’s branches in Jayanagar, HSR Layout and the one we visited was above the Raymond’s Showroom in Vittal Mallya Road.
- How was the staff?
I was welcomed with a warm and smiling staff who offered me a cup of piping hot herbal tea and on asking, they told me that it had chrysanthemum in it which helps you relax. After examining the scalp, we proceeded with the treatment.
- What did the process include?
- A ginger tonic was applied to open up the pores to prepare the skin for the herbal treatment.
- The Bee Choo herbal paste, which is the main ingredient of the treatment, was applied onto the scalp and hair and wrapped with a head wrap to avoid any dripping.
- I headed for the steaming where a fixed temperature will be set for the first 40 minutes and then a lower temperature for the next 5 minutes for the paste to do its magic. This was the most relaxing time during the entire process.
- After the steaming, the scalp is allowed to cool and then the paste was washed with the help of a cooling menthol shampoo and conditioner. The therapist gave an amazing massage during the shampooing which felt like heaven to me.
- A vitamin essence was sprayed onto the hair along with another tonic to help prevent damaged hair.
- Overall experience?
My hair felt really soft and covered all the greys which was quite astonishing. The herbal paste had a nice aroma to it and looked a bit like henna. The therapist told me it had 21 herbal ingredients and no chemical whatsoever is added to this special herbal paste. My scalp was also cleaned up and I could see a big difference to my hair. I was also told to get this treatment a few more times in order to see permanent fix to all the greys and other hair issues.
- Cost of the treatment?
The treatment will range from 2000 INR to 3000 INR with taxes included.
- Do you recommend this treatment?
Yes. For the price you are paying, this is by far the best treatment I have come across which gives real results and that lasts longer even after washing your hair a few times. They recommend you to use their shampoos and conditioners and I can understand why. Most of the hair products that we use contains some or the other kind of chemicals and since Bee Choo Origin treatment has all 100% natural ingredients, they want you to use chemical free shampoos and conditioners too.
The treatment is definitely worth a try, infect more than just one try. As Arpitha mentioned, the Bee Choo Origin treatment has definitely shown results on her hair and infact has been raved quite a lot by Krupa from IshtyleAwhile. I’m definitely going to try this treatment pretty soon myself after hearing such great reviews from Arpitha. What do you think of this treatment? Have you been to any of the stores of Hairbitat India for this treatment? Let me know your views on this.
Till then stay awesome 😀
