In the recent years, I have added on some extra kilos and a lot of grey hair too and initially I hated my body and how it was changing but now I’m trying to make peace with it. I had to tell myself, that I’m a normal human being and change is just a part of my life. And I ain’t got millions to get surgeries done to make me look forever young 😛
From the past 2 years, I’ve been running away from bodycon dresses, skirts or anything that came anywhere close to my skin in the fear that people will call me fat. I was trying to body shame my own self but recently I decided to build some courage and get into this beautiful beige bodycon dress I recently bought from Topshop. And I’m so glad I did so because I frieking love bodycons now and will never ever stay away from them. Infact, I bought two more bodycon dresses after this shoot. 😀
Here are the pictures from that day; A perfect look for the Autumn with the least amount of efforts needed. Enjoy the pictures!!
Beige Dress: Topshop
Puffer Jacket: Cotton On
Shoes: Street Style Store
Patterned Stockings: Shop Nineteen
This was a simple outfit idea that you can try for the coming Autumn. There’s not much efforts put here in dressing and that’s why I love dresses for t’s simplicity and effortless beauty. Always remember to love yourself because nobody can appreciate your flaws until you don’t do it yourself.
I’m back and these few weeks have been a roller coaster ride. Moving to a new place, a new house wasn’t easy. It was like starting a new life all over again, but things are way better now and what better to do than what I love the most-BLOGGING!!!
Last month, Hitesh from our team attended quite an extraordinary event in Bangalore held by VAYA. Extraordinary, because nobody really thinks much about the good old tiffin boxes that most of us carry either to our schools, or to offices or even while travelling. But this awesome guy named Mr. Vashisht Vasanthakumar who also happens to be the CEO of VAYA, decided to make sure that nobody ever has an embarrassing incidence of spilling curries in their handbags or super yucky and cold noodles to school. Let’s know more from Hitesh, how the event was and it’s highlights.
The event was organised in one of the luxury hotels of Bangalore, ITC Gardenia and when we reached at the venue, we noticed that the host was the beautiful Lakshmi Rebecca who was excited as all of us were for this launch. The event was started by the funny man itself, Karthik Kumar who is a well-known stand-up comedian who cracked some of his best and witty jokes to entertain all of us. Following this, we were shown a video where Vaya interviewed few people among the public and asked them what they would like to see in an ideal tiffin box. Most of those were definitely in all of our minds and general issues what we all go through with our tiffin boxes.
The star of the evening, ‘TYFFYN‘ was introduced with a wonderful contemporary styled dance performance and what we witnessed was not just any regular tiffin carrier, but a revolution in itself. Vaya tiffins are a perfect combination of innovation with style and makes sure that the food remains hot like how we all want. The CEO, Mr. Vashisht launched the three different variants of the vaya tiffins and explained how the products were created and why it is different from the regular tiffins. According to him, Vaya Tyffyn , with its proprietary ‘VacuTherm’ technology, incorporates the correct amount of vacuum within its copper lined cover shell that helps in heat retention. Products are designed to keep food hot even after six hours of packing, which means, at lunchtime, users are sure to enjoy their meal, hot and fresh! Each Vaya Tyffyn comes with its own stylish and smart shoulder ‘BagMat’, which unzips into a table mat.
The product is available in three different variants, Graphite– silver finished, Maple-wood finished and Wool– wool knit fabric finished and is currently available only on their website VAYA.INand is priced at a very competitive range of INR 2500 for a three-container version. We absolutely enjoyed this well organised event hosted by Vaya and look forward to using the Tyffyn on a regular basis. Make sure to checkout their website and get your daily dose of hot piping food with Vaya’s Tyffyn.
